Yesterday, Tennessee Republican lawmakers showed us their playbook. 
 
Yesterday, Republicans again wrapped their arms around the NRA instead of protecting our children.
 
Yesterday, Tennessee Republicans expelled two duly elected young, Black legislators who protested along with voters sending a chilling message that dissent will not be tolerated. 
 
I shudder to think what tomorrow might bring.
 
If Governor Youngkin gets control of the General Assembly, his attacks on public education, the LGBTQ+ community, women's access to health care, voting rights, and gun safety progress will explode.  
 
I will use my experience as an attorney who litigates on behalf of children's best interests, a seasoned advocate, and a school board member who has stood up in the face of Republican attacks to ensure the voices of HD-7 residents are heard.
 
I have not backed down from a fight yet and will not stop now.
