FOSB Advocacy Update - Nov. 18, 2024

What's New

Happy Monday, Salmon Bay community!

There are two important rallies this week to which we’d like to invite everyone who can join us.

This evening at 5:30 p.m., North Beach Elementary is holding a rally in front of their school prior to their SPS Community Meeting. They would love to have representation from fellow Northwest-area schools.

Then on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 3:45 p.m., there is a rally before the School Board meeting at the John Stanford Center in SoDo. Since the next meeting is right before winter break, we're hoping to have as much community support as possible tomorrow, with a goal of 10 from each school.

If you know you can make it to either of these, we would appreciate it if you could put your name into this Signup Genius form. We're testing this out as a way to spread out the effort and show our support.

Look for us at the rallies—we’ll be with the giant Salmon sign our SB students created.

We hope to see you there!
