Zenia Torres, the Engagement Director at CIE San Diego, provided updates on the community events and activities the 211/CIE San Diego team participated in over the past month including two internal donation drives organized with our dedicated employees (more than 300) and a community mutual aid event for the city of Los Angeles fire relief. These efforts demonstrate our commitment to giving back to our communities and neighbors in need.
Rox Suarez introduced the new 211/CIE Referral Search, which features a revamped layout, color palette, resource filters, and popular searches. You can learn more about the new referral search here.
Aidee Roman shared updates on the CIE Utilization reports which now include an aggregate agency score, a breakdown of your team's performance by segments, utilization indicators, and more. Joanna Oboza provided an update on 211/CIE's CalAIM Navigation Program. This program accepts direct referrals for all Medi-Cal Managed Care Plans for all Enhanced Care Management (ECM) populations of focus as well as for Housing Transition Navigation Services and Housing Tenancy Sustaining Services. We concluded with an announcement about our partnership with Citivitas Networks for Health. In this partnership, 211 San Diego which encompasses Community Information Exchange (CIE) San Diego, and San Diego Health Connect (HIE) will serve as the premier conference partner for the 2025 Civitas Annual Conference, alongside other California Civitas members. The event will take place from September 28-30, 2025, in Anaheim, CA. For more information, click here.
