Our Design Specialist walked you through the most relevant web accessibility practices, and how they apply to your MyRec.com site.


We also covered ADA and WCAG compliance, answered some common accessibility questions, and provided practical tips you can implement to ensure a user-friendly public site.

Side 1: What's New

Accounts


  • It's TAX TIME! We have a video on tax deductible items on how you can help your customers find the info in their accounts for summer camp and childcare. We also include the set up instructions in the activity creation articles (you must check the tax deductible box on the activity).
  • The list of approved characters for creating a password have been updated.


Activities


  • We added an end date setting to the Teams/Groups tab within the Team Sport activity so team information is shown through the end date of the activity on the public side.
  • We added the selected Team Name to a customer's receipt.
  • A fixed was issued when cloning an activity with a required document, if the document is marked optional at the time of cloning, it now remains optional in the cloned activity.


Memberships


  • We added a warning to see if there is a deleted membership card in use. 
  • An issue on membership length settings was fixed.


Facilities


  • We added an option for requiring a membership on facility rentals.
  • We issued a fix with the Scan In/Out feature and it is recommended to log out of your management side at the end of the night so the cookies can be cleared.


Reports


  • We fixed a page load on the Munis Export.


Email and Text Blasts


  • When using Constant Contact through the MyRec.com email blast feature, the Constant Contact user setting permission needs to be Account Manager (in your Constant Contact account).


Misc

  • Added the date a user was added/modified to the Manage Users tab.
  • Many new icons were added to the system for use. ( swimming/ skiing/ pickle ball, etc).
  • Fixed an issue on the ordering of residency areas not holding their order number.



Possible future items are in Misc > Think Tank, where you can vote and comment on them.
