Hello, Alan Haehnel!

JAM welcomes playwright, poet, and performer Alan Haehnel. He teaches English at Hanover High and appeared in JAM's Rocky Horror shadow play last weekend. The Hartford resident shares an array of his latest works including the comedic Chance Encounter, Called (it's about beavers), and Have You Heard about the recent passing of Hartford resident Jerry Lyman, 80.

Love is on the Air

Romance rules JAM today. Thetford's Parish Players recite

Shakespearean sonnets. Norwich poet Jon Meyer shares his love of Vermont. An Author Talk at the Norwich Bookstore reveals how James Joyce's wife Nora inspired Ulysses. Plus, classical guitarist William Ghezzi of Lebanon

STORY JAM: Bi-Monthy Storytelling Circle

This month's theme is LOVE!

In a society increasingly divided and isolated, storytelling can bring us together.

All members of the Upper Valley community are invited to join the circle and share an unrehearsed 5-minute true story from their own life. No competition, no judgment, no lecturing, no ranting… Whether you are a new or seasoned storyteller; whether you are shy or extroverted – all are welcome!

Redlining Our Souls

Laura Di Piazza is including a projection component in her upcoming exhibition, Redlining Our Souls, opening March 2023 at JAM – Junction Arts and Media (formerly CATV). Please answer this survey and upload your photo(s) to participate in the projected slide presentation. For anonymity; your name will not be displayed on the slide presentation.

Please note that not all submissions may be used in the exhibition. This is largely due to redlining maps not being available for every town/city or submissions already received to be matched with available redlining maps.
