Lixia (立夏) Summer Begins
May 6, 2023 - May 20, 2023
Lunar Calendar dates: 3/17 - 4/2
Lìxià is the 7th solar term (Qi Node) according to the traditional Chinese lunisolar calendar. It begins when the Sun reaches a longitude of 45° and ends when it reaches a longitude of 60°. Nature's Yang Qi is close to its fullest at this time.
Daoist Practices for the Lixia (立夏) period from Master Liu He:
- As summer begins, the temperatures become hotter and hotter. This is the time to sweat appropriately to release any stagnant Qi before Fall. Make sure to get outside as you can and not confine yourself to an air-conditioned room.
- Sunbaths! Choose appropriate times: Morning (before 9 am, as long as you like/can), Noon (11 am - 1 pm, limited to 15 minutes), Sunset (5 pm-7 pm, as long as you like/can).
- In summer, protect your Stomach/Spleen. Choose light and easy-to-digest foods.
- Drink enough water (8-10 glasses, depending on the level of sweating).
- Eat black rice during this time frame to prevent summer fever. Black rice actions include dispelling wind and poison, as well as warding off mosquito bites.
Following the above suggestions, will warm the Yang Qi and nourish the heart and blood to satisfy the Shen (heart/mind) during the three summer months.

Eight Extraordinary Vessels Qigong
These eight vessels begin at the moment of conception, create an energy field within which the embryo grows, and ultimately give rise to the meridian system of our bodies. Practicing Eight Extraordinary Vessels Qigong accesses healing at the level of our prenatal Qi, similar to our DNA, while bringing us back to a time of wholeness before birth, and links us to our present life for developing our potential.

NEW!!! 3-Day Summer Retreat with Master Liu He
August 5, 6, and September 23, 2023 (Livestream)
|
|
Join Master Liu He for this 15-hour online retreat for not just this life time and beyons life tools! She will be featuring a new form: Quantum Channel Qigong & Talisman Drawing.
When awakening the three powerful Quantum channels (the Moon channel, the Sun channel, and the Earth pole channel), you are able to change the energy field from a low to high frequency. This allows you to eliminate negative Qi and radiation. The Moon channel supports our memory and emotions of the past. The Sun channel supports present thinking, future, action, and planning.
The TaiJi pole channel combines the Moon and Sun channels to give birth and transform the three animals: The Turtle (symbol of longevity, creativity, and stability) transforms into the Snake (supernatural power) and the Snake transforms into the Dragon (auspiciousness, justice, prosperity, and strength).
On the third day of this retreat, you will learn to create/draw a talisman for your home. Drawing on Nine Flying Star Feng Shui and Yi Jing principles, Master Liu He will lecture on the use of talismans for harmonizing with the energies of the year!

Concentrating the Hun & Training the Po
with Master Liu He
October 21/22, 2023 (Livestream)
|
|
Develop a happy internal marriage between the Liver and the Lungs.
Concentrating the Hun: The spirit of the Liver (Ethereal Soul) is called the Hun. The Hun gives us sight in the day and dreams at night. It is responsible for our creative projects, plans, and dreams for the future. When practicing, this form decreases cloudy thinking and creates a sharp, clear mind to make unhesitating decisions in life.
Limiting and Training the Po: The (Corporeal Soul) Po of the lungs is similar to an animal spirit, controlling bodily rhythms and basic physical instincts. This spirit’s primal impulses are behind the behavior patterns of infants. Sexual instincts are also controlled by the Po. The Po includes seven spirits that connect with the seven emotions: anger, worry, fear, excitement/joy, fright, sadness/grief, and anxiety. All emotions ultimately return to sadness/grief, the emotion connected with the lungs, as part of letting go. The Po and the development of the lungs are important when you are practicing this form. Practicing this form also takes us further, by working on reestablishing our connection to all the body’s spirits. This work prepares us to continue life in the spiritual world after death.

Nouveau!!! 9 Cours Hebdomadaires via Zoom en Français
Fenghuo Lun Yijing Qigong
utiliser le Feu & transformer le Vent
Dates: 20,27 Septembre ; 4, 11, 18, 25 Octobre ;1, 8, 15, Novembre 2023
