The Foundation offers a series of annual free family events to combat issues of isolation and provides educational opportunities for parents who are their child’s best advocates.
FHSR works to create and fund unique education programs that help parents at each age & stage through the distribution of books and providing age-appropriate resources to parents.
FHSR supports Chicagoland Pediatric Loaner Hearing Aid Banks and programming at Lurie Children's Hospital; the Hart Family Education Coordinator and music therapy to help ensure children with hearing loss are supported.
FHSR’s music programming provides tuition-free music enrichment classes for children from birth - four years old and instrument lessons from 4 to 16 years of age as well as school based music programming and music therapy.

The FHSR Education Coordinator will serve as a resource for parents and their children living with hearing loss to assist in the transition to school, class placement, services and accommodations.
The Foundation for Hearing and Speech Resources supports innovative educational programs, clinical services and social services that enable children and young adults with hearing loss to participate fully in society.
