Effective February 15, 2025 requests for care involving Intensive In-Home Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services (IICAPS), Multidimensional Family Therapy (MDFT), Multisystemic Therapy (MST), and Functional Family Therapy (FFT) for members outside the specified age range as defined by the model developers and noted in the level of care guidelines, will be subject to clinical review and assessment of medical necessity.

When submitting your request for care, please include clinical information and evidence of consultations with the model developers that support the use of this in-home model for youth outside the intended age range. Ensure that this clinical information is documented within the ProviderConnect review submission.
