2024 Community Impact

Clothes To Kids of Denver shoppers took home 13,950 school wardrobes in 2024, making it our busiest and most impactful year ever! That's nearly 290,000 pieces of clothing! An impressive 93% of kids left with a full 21-piece wardrobe.

Our shoppers also took home about 41,000 pounds of "extras" including school supplies, books, toys, accessories and winter gear.

Your contributions allow Clothes To Kids to provide a wide selection of clothing and shoes, as well as a fun shopping experience for the students we serve. Your belief in our mission is what makes our work possible.

Thank you to our incredible donors, volunteers and staff for helping us reach so many deserving students!

Denver Broncos Foundation Awards Another Record Grant

We're excited to share that the Denver Broncos Foundation  recently awarded Clothes To Kids an incredibly generous two-year $150,000 grant to purchase new shoes, socks and underwear for our shoppers. This grant funding will "Underwrite Our Underwear" in 2025 and 2026 and provide new shoes for thousands of student shoppers. This is the largest grant in the history of our organization, and the second award we've received from the Denver Broncos Foundation, which also awarded Clothes To Kids of Denver a $75,000 grant for impact in 2024. We are thrilled to partner with the foundation to support the health and wellness of youth in our community!

The Denver Broncos Foundation is committed to making a positive impact on future generations by creating a “game plan” for life through youth health and wellness initiatives, dynamic in and out of school programming, and access to career pathways. For more information on the Denver Broncos’ community partnerships and programs, please visit www.denverbroncos.com/foundation or follow @BroncosOffField on Twitter and Instagram.

Thank you to the Denver Broncos Foundation for their incredible support!

Sharing the Love

Thank you to the team at Wellness Rhythms Chiropractic for this donation of clothing, shoes and coats they collected from their clients. This is the second drive that they have held for us and we are so grateful for their ongoing support.

At the end of December we welcomed a fun group of 35 student shoppers from Kepner Beacon Middle School along with their dedicated teachers and staff. Our terrific volunteer crew of moms from Montview Elementary School stepped up to assist the students, which made the experience even more special.

The Denver Academy community surprised us with 126 new toys! The drive was organized by DA's Student Senate and every toy went to a great home before the end of the year. Thank you for helping make the holidays brighter for our students. Way to go, Mustangs!

Our good friend Wendy Allen brought in her annual carload of new clothing donated by the Denver Botanic Gardens Guild Members at their recent meeting. There were pants, coats, shirts and shoes - all brand new! Thank you for helping our shoppers stay warm and stylish.

We are so happy to welcome our program associate Maria Reyes back from leave. Our entire team has missed her so much and we are thrilled to have her at the front desk again!

Bryten Real Estate Partners just delivered the proceeds from their absolutely incredible Kicks for Kids Shoe Drive. All of Bryten's teams designed a donation box and each one was a true work of art. They collected a grand total of 404 pairs of new and gently used shoes.

Long-time Clothes To Kids supporters Cheryl Longtin Porter and her husband Mike Porter asked guests attending their Christmas party to bring warm hats for our shoppers in lieu of gifts. She delivered the impressive collection just ahead of this latest round of cold weather. Thank you for helping our shoppers stay cozy.

This super-generous couple just brought in a huge load of brand new shoes. Shoes always top our list of greatest needs and our students certainly appreciate having such nice new pairs to choose from.

Thank you to Eric Manzanares and the amazing players, parents, and coaches of the Greater Good Lacrosse organization for this donation of more than 1,000 new and gently used clothing items.

Andi Knapp from Snooze, an A.M. Eatery (DTC) provided a yummy breakfast for our volunteers working on our annual inventory count. Snooze DTC also collected lots of wonderful donations last month, which really helped us replenish our racks for our first shoppers of 2025.
