April 2023

April is Youth Sports Safety Month

It's Youth Sports Safety Month! As we celebrate the joy and benefits of youth sports, it's essential to prioritize the safety of young athletes. According to the National Center for Sport Safety, nearly 3.5 million children under 14 receive yearly medical treatment for sports-related injuries. As coaches, parents, and mentors, it's our responsibility to create a safe environment for our young athletes to enjoy sports while minimizing the risk of injuries. This month we teamed up with our partner at TeamSnap to share resources to empower young athletes to stay healthy and pursue their passion for the game they love. Thanks to TeamSnap for helping us raise awareness on this crucial topic!
