Creativity & Your Well-Being:
Doodling for Relaxation and Focus
Tue, Feb 4 | 12:10-1pm
Hybrid: Tang Center - Ed Center or Zoom
Instructor: Kim Guess
Doodling is loosely defined as drawing aimlessly. However, it is anything but useless! Doodling may improve recall of verbal information and can help stop people from losing focus when they need to pay attention. In general, creative activities can lower your blood pressure, decrease stress, support your immune system, and increase your ability to be more productive. Learn more about this non-intimidating art form and try out a few sample doodle patterns. Supplies will be provided to in-person attendees.

Recipe of the Month:
Chinese Corn Soup
This easy soup can be made in less than 30 minutes and mostly uses ingredients with a long shelf life! This recipe is similar to egg drop soup but uses silken tofu instead of eggs, great for those dealing with egg shortages (or high prices), egg allergies, or a plant-based lifestyle. If you’re new to cooking tofu, this recipe is a great starting place because you don’t have to drain it well, worry about getting it crisp, etc. For more recipes, visit Cook Well Berkeley!
