Spring Cleanup
Don’t miss out! Spring Cleanup will begin on April 22! During Spring Cleanup, residents can dispose of large, non-hazardous items trash haulers do not normally pick up at NO CHARGE! Identify and select your area to see when trash haulers will be in your neighborhood, view the list of acceptable items and learn more about properly disposing of household waste.
Anthem Pump Track
Grab your bike and get ready to roll because the Anthem Pump Track is opening Saturday, April 1! Anthem Pump Track is a series of small rolling hills and banked turns designed to be ridden by BMX and mountain bikes. This track has been recently refreshed, properly irrigated and will be ready for riders soon!
Broomfield Police Department Teen Academy
Register for the BPD-Inside Teen Academy. This free academy is now open and is designed to be a fun, interactive way for teens to learn about the various dynamic functions of the police department. Teens can experience what it is like to be a police officer and explore a vast array of opportunities available in law enforcement such as SWAT, crime scene investigation, K-9, school resource officer, investigations and detention. Teens must be between 16-18 years of age and live in Broomfield or attend a Broomfield school. 
2023 Summer Program Guide
Discover all the great things Broomfield has to offer including classes, programs, services and more in the 2023 Summer Broomfield Program Guide! The guide covers programs and events in June - August. The Broomfield Program Guide is a one-stop-shop to find and register for ALL programs, classes and events in the City and County of Broomfield including Recreation, Library, G.R.E.E.N., Cultural Affairs, Police and more! 
Pinwheels for Prevention Event
To honor Child Abuse Prevention Awareness month in April, young children and their caregivers are invited to a celebration at the Broomfield Library, April 3 at 10 a.m., for fun activities and snacks. Caregivers will receive educational materials like books or learning toys and resources from around the community that support each one of the five Protective Factors. The five Protective Factors are researched-based practices that, when implemented, can significantly reduce stress and negative behaviors that can often lead to child abuse and neglect.

🏗️ Sign Code Open House: Attend the open house on Thursday, April 13 in the Eisenhower Room at the Broomfield Library to learn more and ask questions about the proposed sign code changes which will be updated this year.

🏊 Paul Derda Rec Center (PDRC) Pool Closures: The PDRC Swimming Pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 27 through Tuesday, March 28 until 4 p.m. for emergency repairs to the pool. View the updated schedules.
🎶 2023 Summer Concert Series: See this year’s lineup and locations that Creative Broomfield is thrilled to announce, which features touring bands, local Salsa groups, grammy award-winning performers and world-class trumpeters.
☀️ Spring Spectacular: Swing into spring at Broomfield’s Spring Spectacular, Saturday, April 8 at the Broomfield Community Center! Enjoy everything from the new Spring Artisan Market to consuming a fresh cooked meal from The Dancing Bee Cafe along with inflatables.

🐺 Avoid Wildlife Conflicts: Stay vigilant and aware during the colder winter months where coyotes become more active in the daytime to preserve energy and heat with these tips: always keep dogs on-leash on trails, be present with your pet in your yard, avoid known or potential den sites and never allow dogs to “play” with coyotes or foxes.

The first ever Prom Swap was more that a success this past weekend! The event hosted by the Broomfield Library featured over 150 dresses and more than two dozens men's shirts and suits along with shoes and accessories donated over the past month from members of the community and staff. Almost every one of the more than 50 teens and their parents took multiple items home, even some moms and dads! Dream dresses were found as many said "Yes" to the dress of their choosing at the new Prom Swap event!
