Get ready to Go Orange for Work Zone Awareness

National Work Zone Awareness Week (April 17-21) is a reminder that managing speed and staying alert in work zones keeps road workers and travelers safe. Join us in wearing orange clothing on Wednesday (April 19) for Go Orange Day to bring attention to work zone safety.

Show your support by posting a photo wearing orange to Twitter or Facebook with the hashtag #GoOrangeWashCo! We may retweet or repost your photos to help spread the word.

Getting ready to travel? Remember to focus and slow down if you see orange signs. Signs, cones, barrels and flaggers may be present to help you get through safely. Watch out for workers and look for posted speed limits. Be ready for sudden stops, and don’t get frustrated by traffic delays.
