Good wine can be hard to find these days as there are so many different types and even more different producers. That is why we at THE STILL enjoy introducing our customers to new, quality wines whenever we can get a chance.

New to THE STILL, we are offering a free tasting of Robert Foley wines during our Zinfandel wine tasting on January 16th. This will be guided by Pierson Ryan, the Sales Director for Robert Foley Wines. Pierson Ryan is a Level 2 Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers. After working in distribution for almost 5 years in Southern California, Pierson accepted the job of National Sales Director for Switchback Ridge in Calistoga, Napa Valley. Pierson loved representing Switchback Ridge for 4 years, and was later offered the same position for Robert Foley Wines.

Here is a bit about Robert and his experience in winemaking:

Robert (Bob) Foley began his winemaking career in the Napa Valley in 1977. He spent his first year working for Heitz Cellars, followed by 15 years as the founding winemaker for Markham Vineyards and later also created Switchback Ridge.

After the founding of multiple other renowned Napa Valley wineries, and 40+ vintages of 90+ point wines to his credit, he's been called "The God of Cabernet" for a reason.
