In response to the crisis in Eastern Europe and the need for global nuclear disarmament, Pathways To Peace is organizing a conference on March 22nd at 2:00 PM (EST) “Shifting the Nuclear Narrative: Emerging Voices Against Nuclear Testing” in partnership with May Peace Prevail on Earth International, and Columbia University Center for Nuclear Studies.

The catastrophic consequences of nuclear weapons remain an existential threat to humanity in the world, as recently witnessed by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the capture of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, and the attack on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

Toshiko Tanaka, Hiroshima Hibakusha Survivor of the atomic bombing,

Zhangeldy Syrmbet, nuclear disarmament expert, and Counselor from the Permanent Mission of Kazakhstan to the United Nations,

Edith Hood and Larry King, survivors of nuclear testing and Uranium mining from New Mexico, United States, and more.
