A Prayer for the
Los Angeles Wildfires
We lift up prayers for all those impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires. We ask for protection over the residents, firefighters, and first responders as they face this dangerous and overwhelming challenge. We pray for lives ended abruptly. We pray for strength and courage for the survivors who have been displaced, for those who have lost property, and for those who are fearful of what lies ahead. Guide us all to take action, whether through prayer, donations, or acts of kindness, to help bring relief and hope to those who are suffering. Amen. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit" - Psalm 34:18. Donations for Los Angeles Wildfire Relief can be made directly to Episcopal Relief & Development, The Red Cross, or The Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles.

Estate Planning
February 1, 10:00 - 11:30 AM
Estate planning helps you examine your financial and non-financial goals, take action to minimize the impact on your family, and ensure that your legacy lives on through those you love. Many people mistakenly think they don’t need an estate plan because they don’t have an “estate.” Almost everyone has an estate and estate planning doesn’t have to be complex to be worthwhile. Parishioner Chad Spencer, Estate Planning & Elder Care Attorney, will once again provide this invaluable FREE discussion of what’s most important to you on Saturday, February 1. Sponsored by St. Michael's Legacy.

Creation Care Tip
Human Environmental Footprint
A human environmental footprint measures the impact of human activities on the Earth's ecosystems. This footprint encompasses everything from carbon emissions and waste production to land and water use. Read Bishop Curry's Call to Action, then sign up to use the National Episcopal Tool. Once you create your account, you'll get custom estimates on impact and savings, track your household progress, share tips and work with others in the Episcopal community. Together, we can begin 2025 on the right step to reduce our combined footprint.
