Coming Soon - Novelution Institutional Review Board
This Spring, researchers will submit Institutional Review Board (IRB) projects through the university-wide Novelution platform, a research management system. The launch date will be announced soon.

Novelution serves as a centralized research management system with administrative and compliance functions, allowing researchers to access their projects for sponsored programs, Financial Conflict of Interest and IRB, all in one location.
Unique, user-friendly features include:

  • side-by-side comparison of changes made during the revision process

  • the ability to copy a project to tweak when creating a new similar project

  • housing all materials, revisions, and submissions in one project rather than in separate packages.
Next steps for researchers:

  • if a project has been completed, submit project closures in IRBNet

  • save project documents from IRBNet for ongoing studies.
There will be several training opportunities in various methods to ensure a smooth transition.

Stay tuned to The Beacon and other Division of Research announcements for further information about Novelution, including trainings, launch dates, and IRBNet closure dates.
