Prayer Guides
Are you looking for prayer guides to use as you start the new year? Did you know that Christ Covenant Church produces prayer guides for your use? Each week our church produces a weekly prayer guide that features a persecuted church and an unreached people group that we can pray for each week. We have a prayer guide with new updates and requests from our supported workers that can be found in the north lobby under the screen. We have a church-wide prayer guide that can be picked up in the main lobby on the guest center desk. All prayer guides can be found at christcovenant.org/prayer. Each prayer guide is printable after downloading and can be found below.

We hope you will take time to submit your confidential prayer requests either online at ChristCovenant.org/members/prayer or by email at prayer@christcovenant.org. Your pastors and staff are continually praying for you!
Join us for Sunday School this Sunday!
We hope you are enjoying the new Sunday School semester with new class offerings that began, Sunday, January 8. All Sunday School classes begin at 9:00 am. If you haven’t joined a class yet, we have a variety of classes that you can choose from. The winter 2023 Sunday School booklet can be found in the worship center on the tables as you enter the sanctuary. You can also read about the various class offerings online clicking here. We hope you will find a class that will benefit your relationship with Christ and connect you with others.
Ministry Highlight: Kendal Care Ministry
Looking for a meaningful way to invest a small amount of time? Do you desire to make a difference in the life of someone from Christ Covenant Church who needs help or encouragement? The Kendal Care Ministry may be just what you are looking for.

The Kendal Care Ministry has touched many lives over the years and is a vital part of the life of Christ Covenant Church. It exists to serve church members and regular attenders who suffer from long-term health issues. Its volunteers also support and encourage shut-ins, caregivers, and the elderly in a variety of ways. The types of support which Kendal Care teams provide include meals, lawn care, errands, shopping, respite for caregivers, companionship, and housekeeping.

The purpose of our Kendal Care Ministry is to come alongside those among us who are in need of long-term support, reminding them that they have not been forgotten, and that they are valued and loved by their church family.

Any adult member of Christ Covenant Church who has a heart for the Lord may serve. Every effort is made to match each volunteer’s interests and gifts with a suitable team assignment upon completion of a short online training. Volunteers will be scheduled to serve one day each month for approximately two hours. Many volunteers with busy schedules are attracted to this ministry because the time-commitment is minimal. Each volunteer is expected to commit to a minimum one-year assignment.

If you would like to explore the possibility that God may be leading you to join a team of Kendal Care volunteers, please email kendalcare@christcovenant.org.

There will be a table in the main lobby of the worship center in between and after the worship service if you have more questions and would like to speak with a Kendal Care team member to learn more or see how you can get involved. There are also brochures with more information at the guest center in the main lobby.

Children’s Ministry is Growing and We Need You!
Children’s Ministry is continuing to grow, and we need YOU!

Did you know:
• Christ Covenant had 25 babies born in 2022 and we have 14 more (that we know of!) currently on the way!
• Christ Covenant had over 40 families with children join the church in 2022!
• Several of our committed volunteers are on a break due to the birth of one of these babies, and a few others have moved away.

Therefore, we need a few more volunteers! Specifically, we need people to serve once a month! We are looking for people to fill the following places:
• 2 people at 9:00 am with crawlers,
• 4 people at 10:45 am with 2 year olds,
• 2 people at 6:00 pm with toddlers.

Find a friend (or a spouse) that you would like to spend an hour with once a month serving the church together and email Amy Wallace at awallace@christcovenant.org to let us know you would like to help!
Looking for a Seat?
We are blessed to have growing attendance at our morning worship service, but there are still plenty of seats available. For example, we want you to know the wings next to the stage are available for seating. You can access these areas from the balcony level. If you have trouble locating a seat, please look for one of our worship coordinators. They will be happy to help you find a place to sit for worship. If you notice someone looking for a seat, please look around for space available around you and see if you can move to the middle of your pew to create additional space. We are so glad you are here for worship!
Envision Capital Campaign
We are hoping to have 100% of the congregation participate in the Envision capital campaign. We are currently at 78%. It’s not too late to turn in your pledge card for the Envision capital campaign! Pledge cards and information about the many upgrades and changes we hope to accomplish through Envision can be found in the brochures and booklets in the worship center and online. You can also make a pledge online at christcovenant.org/envision. We currently have 78% of families participating and $1,170,276 pledges toward our goal of $1,500,000.
