Summer GVBL

Referees Needed! Students in grades 8th-12th as of Fall 2023 can sign up on the GVBL Student Referee Interest form. We are looking for adults to referee alongside and mentor student referees. Participate as much as you would like through a weekly online referee sign-up form. Adults interested in reffing should sign up an Adult Referee Interest Form. Any questions can be sent to basketball@gvco.org. Coaches will be needed this Summer. Registration for them opens April 15th.

Internship Programs

College Intern  Summer 2023 40 hours per week GVCO is looking for a self-motivated individual interested in assisting our organization with its summer 2023 programming. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, be able to work in a team environment, and enjoy working with youth. The candidate should have a background or interest in athletics, an understanding of scheduling, and budgetary/finance capabilities. For questions, contact internships@gvco.org.

High School Interns Fall 2023 - Spring 2024  GVCO is looking for several high school juniors or seniors to assist with programming and administrative responsibilities during the 23-24 school year. Hours would be 2 to 5 hours per week between 3pm-5pm Mondays through Fridays.  GVCO will work with you to create flexible scheduling around academic and extracurricular responsibilities. Compensation is $10 per hour. If interested, please complete the GVCO Internship Form. Application deadline is May 31st. Hiring decisions will be made June 15th.

Celebrate Your Grad

Show Off Your Senior Celebrate and show your Great Valley Pride. Signs are customized with your Senior's Name and are sturdy 18"x24" coroplast with wire stakes.

Orders and payment of $45 must be received by March 31, 2023. Signs will be delivered to the home address entered. Proceeds benefit Great Valley Crew.

Cheer Fit

Cheer-Fitness Clinics are fun and high-energy workout sessions to help cheerleaders increase their endurance through the sweat section and will focus on strengthening the muscles in the body used for stunting and jumps in the strength section. Half of each session is a workout class format and the other half is learning choreography to music that includes exercises and dances. This is all with the added fun of working out with pom-poms!! Poms are included in the registration fee. Registration is open until 3/17. Athletes will be separated into 2 groups based on intensity level. Both groups will be at the same location and same time. 6-7PM at the General Wayne Elementary School - Upper Gym Tuesdays 3/21 - 5/30

Students in grades 7-12 and their parents can sign up for the Constant Contact Caring Hands News distribution list for the 2022-23 school year. Adoption Fees Sponsored for Senior and Military Veteran Adopters Here’s a chance to help older pets find homes with no adoption fee. In memory of a very generous donor named Lynda and her beloved first rescue dog, Simba, the “Sponsored by Simba” program focuses on helping older pets that might get overlooked find homes more quickly. This program is available to senior and military veteran adopters across all campuses and adoption events. Seniors for Seniors: No fee for a person 65 years or older to adopt a senior dog or senior cat (age 8 years and up).
