Compadres VS Teens Basketball Game


There is always something fun going on at our Clubs! This time we hosted a basketball game between the Compadres team and our Chandler Compadres Branch teens. The competition was tough but as always both teams showed great sportsmanship and had a good time!

EY Ripples and NFLA Pitch Competition


Last Friday, six Club teens participated in an EY Ripples and NFLA Pitch Competition! Participants presented their innovative ideas of a sustainability app and blew the judges away! At the end of the event, each teen received a laptop for their participation. Good job!

Black History Month

February is recognized nationally as Black History Month. This month originated in the 1960s civil rights movement amid growing awareness around Black identity. Nationally, Black History Month was formally recognized by President Gerald Ford in 1976. 


This annual observance celebrates and recognizes achievements of Black people in the United States and their central role in the nation’s history. Black History Month is also a time for kids to deepen their knowledge, expand their perspective and advocate for a more equitable future. 


Learning, celebrating and building perspective is what Black History Month is all about!

Ross In-Store Fundraiser


Support Club kids by visiting your local Ross store and donating at the register from February 11th through March 5. Proceeds will go toward Power Hour, the homework help program that provides resources for our kids to achieve academic success. Ross will match the first $400,000 raised!

2nd Chance Sports Gear Drive


Healthy lifestyles is one of our main priorities. Support our Youth Sports Programming by donating sports gear to give our Club kids the equipment they need to play! From February 13th through February 28th you can drop off volleyballs, soccer balls, basketballs, baseballs, gloves and more at any of these 17 Earnhardt Auto Center locations!

MVP Leadership Academy


The MVP Foundation is getting ready for their 2023 Leadership Academy in Williams, AZ, March 24th-26th. This is open to middle school aged boys that are interested in learning about leadership skills, ways to improve grades and finding that path to success. Most importantly, you must want to have FUN!

Scholarship Opportunity with RSI for Parents & Teens!


StrataTech Education Group will award a total of four $5,000 scholarships - two of the scholarships will be designated for RSI’s HVAC program and the other two will be designated for RSI’s welding program.


Eligible students must be a 2022 or 2023 high school graduate, a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and an active participant in the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley OR the parent of a member

¡El viernes pasado, seis adolescentes del Club participaron en una competencia de lanzamiento de EY Ripples y NFLA! ¡Los participantes presentaron sus ideas innovadoras de una aplicación de sostenibilidad y sorprendieron a los jueces! Al final del evento, cada adolescente recibió una computadora portátil por su participación. ¡Buen trabajo!

Mes negro de la historia

Febrero es reconocido a nivel nacional como el Mes de la Historia Negra. A nivel nacional, el Mes de la Historia Negra fue reconocido formalmente por el presidente Gerald Ford en 1976.
