Meet us at the Summit!
WSAE’s annual Summit is the premier event for executives, professional staff and Industry Partners to participate in top-level education programs, earn CAE credit, and personally connect with other members in our association community. Hosted by the beautiful brand new state of the art Brookfield Conference Center over the dates of October 26-27, 2021, attendees will receive two days of relevant education, “experience” style networking events and the opportunity to share ideas among our peers. Watch the Summit web page for full program information, coming soon!
Keynote:
Thoughtfully Fit®: Build Resilience in Uncertain Times
with presenter Darcy Luoma
Join Madison, Wisconsin’s favorite executive coach as she teaches you how to face any challenge – no matter how difficult – using a model she herself has tested under extreme fire.
In difficult times, it can feel like everything is out of our control and we have no choices. Darcy Luoma knows this firsthand, as she had to deal with the aftermath of her husband’s sudden and shocking arrest for sexual assault of a minor he met online. She put her own teachings of how to be Thoughtfully Fit® to the test for her business, her children, and herself to thrive. More information will be posted as available.
If you are interested in supporting the Summit through sponsorship, please contact Chris Caple at ccaple@wsae.org.

WSAE launches new giving campaign in support of struggling members
Pay It Forward to Move Mountains

The program launched at the Spring Fore-ward. Click here for more information and then give what you can - $10, $25, $50 or $100. All donors will be recognized on our website, as well as at the 2021 Summit, when the campaign concludes. We certainly are Stronger by Association!

DEI Benchmarking Survey
WSAE members are invited to participate in the association sector’s first assessment on the status of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, their challenges, and potential solutions.
The research is being conducted by Association Laboratory, an independent strategic research company specializing in association business strategy. WSAE is one of nearly 20 global, national, and state societies for association executives encouraging participation among its membership/stakeholders in this research via the Association Laboratory Research Alliance.
Participating in this study will give you complimentary and timely access to a customizable dashboard of results, provided by Nucleus (the official Data Analytics Solution to the Association Laboratory Research Alliance), to be able to understand how associations are addressing these critical issues.
The survey will take you up to 15 minutes to complete. Please note that you must complete the survey at one time or keep the survey window open when you switch to something else in the midst of responding. If you exit before finishing the survey, you will need to start over at the beginning. Partial responses cannot be saved. The survey closes September 8.
Association Laboratory’s expertise in creating timely, cutting-edge, research that represents diverse associations supports WSAE’s efforts to provide you with the tools you need to foster strategic, future-focused discussions that impact your association’s strategy today.
