Dear Residents -
The Pearl River Parks Committee is once again hosting the carnival on the Central Avenue Field in Pearl River. This is great news because it means that the July 4th Fireworks show is on! The carnival runs through Sunday, June 20th and the hours are from 6 pm to 10 pm on Friday and 4 pm to 10 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The Piermont Farmers Market is open on Sundays, from 10am to 3pm, but has moved to Parelli Park. With cool breezes from the Hudson River, shade, refreshing drinks, Piermont flavor & flair, summer produce and a great vendor line-up, it is not to be missed.
Nyack's Spring Fling is winding up this Sunday. If you have not made it to Nyack for one of their Sunday flings, you have this Sunday to capitalize on it. Take a stroll around the village and enjoy weekly Spring Fling Specials — a special meal or deal at participating businesses!
The Village of South Nyack is now accepting comments on the draft of the South Nyack Dissolution Plan, which will be followed up with a Public Hearing on the Draft Plan on July 21, 2021. The Village Board will then have 60 days to amend and adopt the plan. A draft of the South Nyack Dissolution Plan can be found here.
This Tuesday, June 22nd, the Town Board, as part of their Regular Town Board Meeting, will be holding a public hearing on whether or not to opt out of adult use of cannabis/marijuana retail dispensers and on-site consumption sites. The Hearing will begin at approximately 7:05pm.
Happy Father's Day!
Regards,
