Weekly Newsletter

I will love you Lord in every way and without setting limits to my love.
You set no limits to what you have done for me;
you have not measured out your gifts.
I will not measure out my love.
I will love you, Lord, with all my strength, with all my powers, as much as I am able.
~ St. Thomas of Villanova, Bishop of Spain
Donation Casual Day - September 23, 2021
Each month we offer a casual day for a cause. The purpose is to raise funds in order to do good. We invite students and staff to donate one dollar or more to dress in casual attire. This Thursday, September 23rd will be our first collection. The funds raised will go to support the work of the Student Campus Ministry group. Throughout the year this group plans to serve at St. Joseph Food Program, Pillars, Salvation Army and Feeling America. Additionally, the group will lead and participate in prayer opportunities. Thank you for your support!

VFW Essay Contest
Recently we commemorated the 20th anniversary of September 11th.  The events of that day inspired a strong feeling of patriotism for our country as Americans united together in prayer and reflection.

Every year, the Veterans of Foreign Wars,  Post 2778, host an essay contest celebrating the freedom that was fought for by our veterans.

The VFW is requesting an essay from you on the topic, "How Can I Be A Good American?"  Think deeply on that topic, and write a three to four hundred word essay.  Share your essay with Ms. Bouchard to enter the contest.  Please check with her (jbouchard@xaviercatholicschools.org) for more information about the contest and prizes. Entry deadline is October 22nd.
