Upcoming membership fees are due in October. An email invoice from PayPal will be sent making it convenient for you to pay with your credit card right from the invoice. We hope you will renew, even if you let it lapse last year.

FWS Conference Cancelled

Due to the concerns over the safety of our FWS family and the art community, we regret to inform you that we have canceled the 2021 50th Annual Florida Watercolor Society Convention. This cancellation applies to all of the events and demonstrations that were scheduled to take place at the Marriott Hotel in Coral Springs, Florida. We have made this difficult decision after the analysis of the data regarding COVID 19, (the Delta Variant) in Broward County and across Florida. Your health and safety is our highest consideration.

Now, we are going to put our best effort in this short time to bring you a Convention virtually. Times and days will be announced, but we are looking at the last week of October to host the Virtual Convention.

Tom Rebek earned his NWS Signature status, and his painting “Let’s Play” was awarded the Henry & Fujiko Fukuhara Memorial Cash Award

Judy Nunno's painting "Re-peared" won the Combined Donor Innovative Concept Award at the National Watercolor Society 101st International Open Exhibition and has been published in "The Best of Watercolor: Splash 22".

Member Announcement

Tom Rebek's painting "Let's Play" has been accepted into the National Watercolor Society 101st International Open Exhibition earning him Signature Member status.

Marilyn Johansen's painting ‘Popsicles in the Park" will be published in Artistonish contemporary art magazine, August 2021.

Judy Nunno's painting "Sweet Swirls" has been chosen for publication in "Splash 23: The Best of Watercolor" due out mid-2022.

The Delray Art League (DAL) is sponsoring "Summer in the City", an indoor art show with access to the many booths to display your artwork in the air conditioned comfort of the Big Apple Shopping Bazaar on Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach.
