The Connection

St. Crispin's Conference Center and Camp

Newsletter October 2022

St. Crispin's was blessed to host the 85th Annual Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma!

What a blessed time to have folks from all over the state gather here for worship, fellowship, and conduct the business of the Diocese. The consensus was "Let's do it again next year!"

We want to thank Bishop Poulson, the Diocesan Staff, and all the members and delegates for allowing our staff to serve them.

We also want to thank the St. Crispin's staff who went above and beyond to take such good care of our guests and to serve them well! A shout out also goes to Bryant, Glenn and John from Emmanuel Church in Shawnee for smoking the brisket, sausage, chicken and pork for the banquet meal on Saturday evening!

Exciting News!

St. Crispin's is excited to announce a new facility open to our guests!

The St. Crispin's Guest Cottage is available for reservations as of November 1st! It is a 2-Bedroom, 1-Bath with Living Room, Dining area and full kitchen. The cozy cottage is fully furnished and nicely appointed to make your weekend or weekday stay a wonderful get away!

Many of you have been friends of St. Crispin's for many years. Some of you may have only recently become aware of what a wonderful place and ministry this is.

"Friends of St. Crispin's" is a way to provide ongoing support to St. Crispin's by:

  • Praying regularly for needs, campers, guests and staff.
  • Sharing and advocating for St. Crispin's by telling others about this special place.
  • Helping by volunteering as needs arise and time allows.
  • Giving financially. Currently, there are some pressing operational needs. As these needs are met, we're hopeful that all gifts can go toward program and facility improvements. Would you pray and consider a monthly gift? This would make such a big difference in the long term ministry of St. Crispin's!

Please pray often, share the story and give. Please see "opportunities for support" in this newsletter. Call or email us to find out more about the opportunities.
