Get Moving Miler's Club
Need to take off a few of those "pandemic pounds"? Need to just get moving? Doctor recommend that you walk? Need fellowship? Join Susie and Shelly on Tuesday and Wednesday after office hours at 4:30pm to walk a mile.(or more if you're up to it) Walk around the perimeter of church parking lot, down to Hart Street Road, and back again. Do it twice, and voila! You will have walked a mile. Walk at your own pace. Join the Get Moving Miler's Club! Everyone invited!

Mission Trip
CUMC is taking a group of volunteers to work in the Midwest Distribution Center in Springfield Illinois
Dates: Monday, September 27 thru Friday Oct, 2021
Deadline to join in this mission is August 30 so we can make preparations for transportation and accommodations.

Graduation Open House
Ella Hays will be graduating from South Knox High School on May 29, 2021. All are welcome to join us for an open house to celebrate Ella's graduation. It will be held on May 29 from 5-8 pm at The Gazebo, 5717 S. Christmas Road.

VBS Registration
Vacation Bible School will be from June 14 thru June 18. We welcome all children and also ask for adult volunteers for help. There is on-line registration on the CUMC website and on the Facebook page. If you don’t have access to either of those, please contact the church office at 812 882 2220 so your child can be registered ahead of time

Donations needed NOW for Vacation Bible School:
Glue sticks
Large empty cereal or
cracker boxes
You can leave the empty boxes in the basket at the Prayer and Praise area in the Fellowship Hall.
And always, if anyone wants to donate cash for VBS, you can do so to help cover extra costs for the t-shirts, crafts and other supplies! You need to designate it is for VBS so Cindy will have that record.

Kay Brown, a longtime member if our church family, will be celebrating her birthday on May 19. She is now living in a new and unfamiliar community and is housebound.
