Senior Licensed Immigration Adviser
Kia Ora Readers,

Welcome to another edition of the Fortnightly Newsletter, providing you with the latest news and updates from the world of Immigration and Education during these unprecedented and challenging times.

In this issue, I have, through a video, highlighted how onshore migrants might be eligible for a "Work to Residence" visa. There is also a video on "Family Reunification for Healthcare Workers" who are currently in New Zealand

Meanwhile, Immigration New Zealand (INZ) keeps rolling out updates and our newsletter covers all those updates in simple terms to make it easier for you to understand them.

The Education section covers topics like reconnecting New Zealand to the world, the first New Zealand Global Competency Certificate Course and updates from the ENZ global education team.

Institute highlights include articles on IPU New Zealand – a tertiary institute, Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT), discovering study options and Ara Institute of Canterbury.

The general updates section talks about MIQ and the next virtual lobby, migrant Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers and how their union win the right to reunite.

We also have interesting blogs on Essential Skills Work Visa and STEM careers.

Case Studies are always very intriguing. In this section, we have included stories about how a domestic violence victim managed to obtain three years work visa, the Potential Prejudicial Information (PPI) woes of an applicant and how our involvement led to a positive outcome and how a Section 61 request of an unlawful student led to a positive outcome with our help.
