SDSD NEWSLETTER: January 2022
Hello Stage Door Dancers, Families, and Friends,

Happy New Year, Dancers! We hope you all had an amazing holiday filled with rest, health, reflection, and fun. Everyone here at Stage Door is so excited to see you all back on the dance floor and living your best dance lives!

This month the real work begins. We'll announce recital music and dancers will start to learn recital choreography in all classes, as we once again prepare for another amazing June 2022 performance at the Staller Center for the Performing Arts. It is imperative that you keep up with your attendance now through June to ensure you have the best recital experience ever.

With that said, as COVID-19 cases are on the rise in our local community, I would like to personally encourage you to please stay home and rest if you are not feeling well, or if you feel/know you have been exposed and have not had a test to confirm your status. All dancers are always welcome and have access to participate directly from the comfort of their home via Zoom.

As we continue to navigate the health and safety of our community together, some of our policies, practices, and procedures may shift to accommodate the immediate situation. We will continue to be as swift, transparent, and communicative as possible to ensure all of our SDSD families are confident that their dancer's health and safety is always top of mind to us here at Stage Door School of Dance.

Starting in January 2022 all classes will be ending 5 minutes earlier than usual class times until further notice, so we can safely get dancers in and out of the building while the lobby is closed to parents / guardians.

Just as an additional reminder, please take a moment to review our updated drop-off and pick-up process outlined below, which goes into effect January 3, 2022.

We have exciting new opportunities and events also coming up, so be sure to take a look at our SDSD New Dancer Starter Packages for Ballet and Hip Hip and our SDSD Prince and Princess Ball. These beginner classes and fun events for our younger dancers are the perfect place to begin if you are looking to start a dancer on their SDSD journey.

As always, I can't begin to thank you each enough for being a part of the SDSD family. Together we can ensure that 2022 will be filled with as much art, dance, and fun as possible! If you have questions regarding classes, the studio, or your Stage Door School of Dance experience, please feel encouraged to reach out to info@stagedoordancer.com at any time.

Always with gratitude and love,
Mary Giattino
