Planting Season is delayed due to warmest weather in history!

If you've already received your seeds, for best success please be sure to follow the simple instructions on the instruction sheet that comes with your grass seed.

If you haven't received your seeds yet, a slight delay will not in any way affect your ability to plant a Pearl's Premium Ultra Low Maintenance Lawn this fall. In fact, because this is the warmest year in weather history, the beginning of planting season has been delayed nearly a month. Nights may be cool in your area, and days may be mild, but that has no bearing whatsoever on the best time to plant. It's soil temperature that matters, and in the fall soil temperature is typically 10 degrees higher than air temperature. Remember to plant whenever soil temperatures are between 50 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit, whether in the northern or southern hemisphere.

• Up North, planting begins next week.

• Down South, or in California do not plant until the 1st or 2nd week of October.
