The Penumbral Eclipse Full Moon on July 5th, 2020, at 12:44 am (EST) will be in Nakshatra Purva Ashada, "The Invincible Star" and the zodiac sign of Sagittarius. Ruling Energies: Venus, Jupiter, and Apas, "The Goddess of Water"

Purva Ashada relates directly to the seat of self. The Swadhisthana Chakra. Since the moment of conception, all that has been accumulated lies here in the form of emotions of pleasure, pain, creativity, passion, and sensuality. Feelings and emotions became our first form of communication.

After birth, we hence moved forward, assigning labels, comments, and judgments to make sense of our feelings and our desperate need to feel ok, enough, worthy, appreciated, etc. In doing so, we sold our soul to the devil of the outside world and ended up pretending to be someone we are not. This someone you are not, and the who you are, have now merged at the Sacral Chakra, leaving who you really are under the shadow of who you are not.

Apas, "The Goddess of Water," more specifically container water, is the ruling deity of Purva Ashada. Your body is 85% percent water, and it all flows in and through the Sacral Chakra, for which she rules. The Sacral Chakra is the microcosm container of the womb of creation.

The womb of the creation is represented as the celestial ocean. The story of ' Samudra  [Ocean]  Manthan  [the Churning]' is a beautiful story of Hindu mythology. In the process, two of the many things that arose from the churning were poisons and the elixir of immortality. (see below)

Purification is made possible by cleansing the Sacral Chakra and washing all the toxic emotions and feelings. The water goddess cleanses everything that is not pure, and in the process, the soul seats itself in the celestial womb of creation, its true and rightful place.

Above and below the clouds

Our Lunar eclipse is sure to continue the churning of the oceans with the focus of importance on home and work. Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, Pluto, and Neptune are all in retrograde motion. Our current reality and government officials are still holding to the idea that the economy is more important than the safety of individual lives. Each of us must take responsibility for our own safety and ask the questions of what's more important. Will we move outside of our sense of self to feel like we belong and are worthy? Or can we rest within the seat of self and birth a new creation for ourselves to share with the world?

Venus, the ruling planet of Purva Ashada, has moved direct, but for this Lunar Eclipse, she is in a debilitated position. This position leaves the lady of love, pleasure, and passion in a householder position of restraint and the need to understand that priorities come first. Jupiter and Venus, the two Guru's that rule Purva Ashada, will help guide you with Wisdom and Love in whats best to nourish the seat of the self.

Key Characteristics of the Sacral Chakra

Pleasure  —Motivated by pleasure and joy, the sacral chakra is responsible for your enjoyment of life through your senses. This creates the foundation for your emotional well being.
Sensuality  — The sacral chakra helps you understand and develop your intimate connections with others.
Creativity  — The sacral chakra awakens your creative expression, allowing you to explore new ideas and stimulate your imagination.
Passion  —Your sacral chakra's energy will enable you to discover and explore your true passions. This passion lets you truly enjoy life.

This is the final eclipse of our summer eclipse season. It is also a completion of the January 2019 eclipse season. Whatever happened in January of 2019 finds its fulfillment here (THANK GOD!!!!!). Churn the Oceans and see what arises. Drink plenty of water to cleanse any residue of that which has served its purpose.

Rest back in the seat of the self and let creation sing.
