154 registered runners, 58 people made donations, Team Kenny had the most members. Second highest was Senator Elijah Reichlin-Melnick.
117 people finished the race, despite the heat and lack of tree coverage on the rail trail.
A special shout out to:
· Sparkill-Palisades Fire Department – for their runners and their spectators
· Orangetown Auxiliary Police for traffic control on Kings Highway, Greenbush Road and for help in Depot Square and parking cars.
· Claire Eckert for marking up the trail with “Keep Going” and “turn around here” markings.
· Marc Eckert and his girls, being there at the turn around and cheering us on.
· Joe Printz for opening his wine store to give runners a bathroom to use.
· John and the Taco Truck – for opening up early and feeding us hungry, tired and sweaty runners.
· And last, but not least, Race Director Tara Estevez-Seickel.
