"Great things are done
by a series of small things brought together."

Once again we are floored by the community support that continues to show up and scream, "Put me in coach!". The five days spent at Elkhorn Ribfest, were five days of awesomeness. THANK YOU to each and every person who showed up ready to rock and who gave it their all from start to finish. Honestly? It never really felt like work cause we had such amazing groups of volunteers behind the bars this year!

And the best part? Lots of dollars were thrown in the tip jars and we were thrilled to see so many worthy causes supported by this crazy celebration of GOOD MUSIC, GOOD FOOD, & GOOD TIMES! We look forward to doing it all again next year. Mark your calendar for July 12th - 16th, 2023 for next year's Elkhorn Ribfest!

There is still so much left to do this summer! Up next?
We still have 64 days left of summer! That's two full months of festivals, barbeques & hot weather fun. We look forward to spending it with you and enjoying what our small-town-big-fun community has to offer!
Stay Cool!

LEARN & GROW
Pictured is Bernadette Russow, President of the Dementia Friendly Community Initiative, Inc. – Walworth County presenting a Purple Angel Award to Shelli Gulbransen, Alexandria Binanti Martinez, Lou Ann Anderson, Christi Hunter and Jill Gaulke, of Visit Lake Geneva, after a refresher training program at the Visitor Information Center. This award is recognized internationally as a welcoming sign that those with the disease will be treated with dignity and respect. This is increasingly important for a destination such as Lake Geneva.
Experts recommend walking briskly on most days. Aim for a target of 30 minutes on most days, or 150 or more minutes a week. Walking programs can help you reach this goal by slowly increasing the frequency and the amount of time you walk.
