ACCP Announces New President Elect &
New Board of Regents
We are pleased to announce Dionna J. Green, MD, FCP was elected to the position as ACCP President Elect. We look forward to Dr. Green's contribution on ACCP's Executive Committee.
Dionna J. Green, MD, FCP
Acting Director, Office of Pediatric Therapeutics/Office of Commissioner, US Food & Drug Administration

Dr. Green was elected to the ACCP Board of Regents in 2020. She joined ACCP in 2016 and became a Fellow in 2019. Dr. Green has served as the AAMC CFAS Representative since 2018 and was the 2018 Annual Meeting Program Committee Co-chair. In 2017 & 2018, she was a Faculty Speaker at the ACCP Annual Meeting and was an Abstract Reviewer in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Dr. Green has submitted Honors & Awards nominations and multiple manuscripts to The Journal of Clinical Pharmacology. She is currently serving on the Nominating Committee, the Public Policy Committee, the Inclusivity, Diversity & Equity Committee, the 2022 Annual Meeting Program Committee and is a New Member Ambassador in the recently launched New Member Ambassador Program.

New ACCP Board of Regents
Following a vote of the membership, the American College of Clinical Pharmacology® (ACCP) is pleased to announce the results of the 2021 Regents Election. Newly-elected Regents for the 2022 - 2026 term are:

  • Otito Iwuchukwu, PhD, FCP
  • Catherijne Knibbe, PharmD, PhD, FCP
  • Arun Ram, MD, FCP

The primary responsibility of the Board of Regents is to set policy and annual or longer term goals and objectives, including but not limited to:

  • overseeing the transaction of business required to fulfill the purpose and objectives of ACCP;
  • regulating and conserving the property interest of ACCP;
  • overseeing expenditures and approving or disapproving the recommendations of Standing and other Committees.

Support and guidance from the Board of Regents will be critical as ACCP looks to the future and evolves to better serve the needs of its Members. The new Regents will begin a five-year term in February 2022. Please join us in congratulating Drs. Iwuchukwu, Knibbe and Ram in their new roles!
Otito Iwuchukwu, PhD, FCP
Associate Professor, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Fairleigh Dickinson Univ School of Pharmacy

Dr. Iwuchukwu joined the society in 2012 and became a Fellow in 2020. She has been a Member of the Education Committee since 2012 and recently joined the newly formed ACCP Inclusion, Diversity & Equity Committee. Dr. Iwuchukwu has contributed to the Student, Trainee & Early-stage Professional Committee as a previous Member and was a Member of the Compliance Sub-committee from 2013 - 2016. She participated in the Member-Get-a-Member Program, has attended ACCP Annual Meetings and was an Annual Meeting Abstract Reviewer in 2016, 2020 and 2021. Dr. Iwuchukwu is also a New Member Ambassador in the recently launched New Member Ambassador Program.
Catherijne Knibbe, PharmD, PhD, FCP

Dr. Knibbe joined ACCP in 2018 and became a Fellow in 2019. She currently serves on the Membership Committee and has attended ACCP Annual Meetings since 2017. Dr. Knibbe served as as an ACCP Annual Meeting Faculty Speaker in 2017, 2018 and 2020 and was an On-site Poster Judge at the 2017, 2018 and 2019 ACCP Annual Meetings. She has submitted Honors & Awards nominations and manuscripts to The Journal of Clinical Pharmacology.
Arun Ram, MD, FCP
Course Director & Professor, Pharmacology, Eastern Virginia Medical School

Dr. Ram joined ACCP in 2010 and became a Fellow in 2020. He has been a Member of the Education Committee since 2014 and Co-chair from 2017 - 2021, a Compliance Sub-Committee Member from 2014 - 2016, an Annual Meeting Program Committee Member since 2019 and an Abstract Reviewer since 2014. He has served as a Mentor, moderated and attended ACCP webinars and submitted Honors & Awards nominations.
