Lovejoy Community,

As we look towards the last week of school, we are so proud of all of our Leopards for their outstanding accomplishments in a unique and challenging year.

A huge thank you to our outstanding teachers and staff. This year, you faced unbelievable challenges while maintaining an unwavering focus and dedication to our students and our families.

Next week, we hope our community will take time to celebrate the student accomplishments of the school year and help us celebrate the successes of the Class of 2021!

Transportation Survey
DUE TONIGHT

Lovejoy ISD sent a message to all families on May 12th regarding transportation information for the upcoming school year. Please click here to review the message if you did not receive it.

Please take a few minutes to complete this quick survey by tonight, Friday, May 21st at midnight! This survey data will help the Administration form a fee proposal for transportation services for the May 24th Board Meeting.
School Start and End Times
The district is planning to adjust the Elementary and Sloan Creek start and end times for the upcoming school year by ten minutes. Plans for 2021 - 2022 School Year
Plans for the 2021-2022 school year, are for Lovejoy ISD to return to normal, pre-COVID operations.

For the 2021- 2022 school year:
  • Masks will not be required, but optional for those who choose to wear
  • All instruction will be face-to-face, LISD will not offer virtual learning
  • Secondary schedules will return to a traditional 8 period day

Please note that our plans to return to normal pre-COVID operations are based on current improving health conditions.

Changes may be required if guided differently by the Texas Education Agency (TEA), Governor’s Executive Order, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Collin County Health Department, Department of Texas Health and Human Services, or if hospitalization rates impact local guidance.
