To All Members of First UMC – Evanston,
The District Superintendent has approved our Special Church Conference to be held on July 31st at 10:00 a.m. with the sole agenda of receiving the 2022/2023 report of the Nominations and Leader Development Committee.
Members of First Church will vote for the new leadership team.
The in-person Church Conference will be held in the Dining Hall immediately following the Worship in the Park Service and before the Worship service in Tittle Chapel. A zoom link will be emailed to church members who plan to attend virtually.
The Nominations and Leader Development Committee will send the agenda to the membership later in the week.
It takes 145+ members of the congregation to go the extra mile and serve in various committees and ministries for our church to fulfil to reach towards our vision and fulfil our mission. I am so thankful for all who make phone calls to ask and all who say “YES.” Your vote at the Church Conference is both an affirmation, gratitude, and a prayer.
