Dear Parents:
As the Grades school is reverting to our remote learning platform, MLWS Connect, until the end of the week, below is a little refresher on how to access and work with our platform.
To access MLWS Connect, go to https://sites.google.com/view/mlwsconnect/home and bookmark the page so you can return to it easily. Google Chrome is the recommended browser for accessing the site. Once on the site use the left navigation bar to access your grade level page. If you do not see the left navigation bar, click the three small horizontal bars on the top left of your browser to expand the navigation bar.
Most of the content on the grade and specials pages requires you to sign in to Google Drive. When you click on DOCS, AUDIO, VIDEO, UPLOAD, or Daily Notice you will be prompted to sign in to Google Drive. Sign in with your student's Mountain Laurel email account only. Please do not "Request Access" using other email addresses or Google accounts; the only access available is with the Mountain Laurel email account.
If you do this once on every device you use to access Connect, and stay signed in, you will not need to sign in each time you visit Connect. If you have children in multiple grades, you will need to sign in using each account, as students in each grade can only see the content for their grade and their specials.
Contact Patricia ([email protected]) if your student does not yet have a Mountain Laurel email address or if you need to have the password reset for access.
Zoom:
To access the Zoom classroom, click the Zoom Permalink on the grade or special pages and login with the password provided by each teacher. These passwords and links will not change; in order to minimize disruptions, please do not share them with anyone outside of the class. The first time you do this you will be prompted to download and install Zoom. This is safe and can be done quickly and easily.
