Good Samaritan Community Services

Year In Review: 2022

At Good Sam, our goal is empowering communities to thrive. This year, we will continue to serve as a catalyst for change, support youth, individuals, and families by providing excellent community service to overcome economic poverty.

Together with our donors, volunteers, and partners, we can change lives and help overcome economic poverty. In 2022, this critical work led to:

West Side Community Conversations: January

Good Sam hosted a West Side Community Conversation led by Judson University's Architecture professor, Alan Frost, along with Judson University students, city officials, state representatives, and community members to discuss and share the community's excitement about possible changes to the west side.

For the first time in two years, Good Sam Board Members remodeled the Texas A&M classroom in the Learning Center by painting Texas A&M colors and logos for a more collegiate look.
