A Great, Big, Beautiful World Indeed! |
Thank you to the many adults, youth and community volunteers who made our 2021 outdoor VBS week - Great Big Beautiful World - such a positive, safe and wonderful experience for the nearly 100 children who participated.
A particularly special part of VBS this year was a series of lessons on hunger needs across our community. Children learned about the ways they can help to reduce hunger in our city from Covenant leaders and guest speakers who are passionate about feeding Charlotte.
The VBS food drive raised a grand total of 1,054 pounds of non-perishable food (including 31 pounds of tomatoes harvested from our Covenant garden!) for our community partner, Loaves & Fishes / Friendship Trays.
