As you can see, the reality of an unplanned pregnancy can present several challenges for a woman who finds herself in any one of these situations. She must deal with the fact that her life is going to change, and how she responds to those challenges will be based on the information and resources available to her.

We know that a woman who is pressured may make a rash decision to abort without having all the information she needs to make an informed decision. But what if an abortion-determined woman had a chance to see her unborn baby before making that final decision? At Southside Women’s Services, we meet a woman at this critical time by providing her with information about ALL of her options, not just one! She receives free resources, spiritual support, pregnancy education by certified licensed medical staff and key ultrasound by licensed sonographers.

When a woman can see the TRUTH for herself – that there is LIFE in her womb through the ultrasound picture, she knows that she is carrying a human being created in the image of God – not a just a “blob of tissue” or “a product of conception” or a “clump of cells”! The medical staff at Southside have witnessed the impact of women making decisions for LIFE because they saw their babies double in size from week to week or even discovered multiple babies—twins, even triplets (see photo below)!

Every woman who walks through Southside’s doors seeking help and information receives that along with emotional and spiritual support. The hope being that she leaves Focused, Assured and Confident. Since the start of this year, 166 WOMEN CHOSE LIFE FOR THEIR BABY!
