To say that Jesus coming to Earth made a difference is indeed a huge understatement. He made ALL the difference for time and eternity. By example, He taught and lived that His followers should seek to make a difference for the Kingdom of God during our lives here as well.
In my earlier updates this month I wrote about wisely using our time and being aware of the prophetic times that we are living in. Today, I'm asking you to consider making the difference on behalf of our ministry.
We have labored in ministry for almost four decades with one goal in mind. That goal is displayed near the top of our website's home page and will continue to light the way in our mission.
"We exist to see the lost saved and the Church changed by the power of Jesus Christ!"
I realize that times are uncertain and full of questions. We all know that many are hurting and we see Satan's destructive work all around us. But these are compelling reasons that now - more than ever - we need no-nonsense apologetics and insight into the end-times. Today, you can strengthen and help us continue fulfilling that single-sentence mission of this ministry.
Some who receive this can't do any more than pray and we appreciate that. However, some are able to give to the cause of Take A Stand! Ministries, perhaps substantially. Maybe you are still looking for the right place to make a year-end gift that will make a difference. If that's you, would you please stop and pray right now?
For those who've been receiving these updates for long, you know that we don't focus much on fundraising and you're probably aware that the end of December is the time each year that it is emphasized. I'd like to tell you that there are no needs this year but that is simply not true. The fact is, that with Melanie's illness and surgery, we've been through the toughest stretch ever since surrendering to the ministry way back in 1983. But as we look to what the future holds my optimism and joy outweigh the challenges and financial strain of recent days.
