WHAT DOES A BLUE BUCKET MEAN:

A blue Halloween bucket has become an unofficial symbol of awareness for autism. If you see a trick-or-treater holding a blue pumpkin candy bucket at your doorstep, it could mean the person is autistic.

WHAT DOES A TEAL BUCKET MEAN:

The teal Halloween bucket is used to raise awareness for children with food allergies and food-related medical conditions. It’s an important issue to think about when it comes to passing out candy with potential common allergens like gluten and peanuts.

HALLOWEEN PSA FROM NWFR

PSA North Westside community! North Westside Fire Rescue will be out in the community this year for Halloween, giving out candy and showing a presence to help keep everyone safe. This will also allow Fire crews to quickly respond in the case of an emergency. Our firefighters look forward to seeing everyone and their spooky costumes this Halloween!
