Unified Golf Tour

Unified Golf pairs individuals with intellectual disabilities with Unified partners (golfers without intellectual disabilities) to compete in a team environment. The Unified Golf Tour offers opportunities to participate in varying skill levels, including 3-hole, 6-hole, 9-hole, and mini golf competitions.

FUNDRAISING CENTRAL

Custard, Cops, and Contributions

Come out to Culver's for Butterburgers and Badges on July 11th! Local law enforcement and Special Olympics athletes will be collecting donations for Special Olympics Iowa from 4-8pm at select Culver's locations around the state. Stores will also be donating $1 from every Concrete Mixer® sold on the day of the promotion.

Play Ball!

Join Cargill and Special Olympics Iowa on Saturday, July 20th for a night out at the Cedar Rapids Kernels game. The game will begin at 6:35 pm. In addition to the ballgame, participants will enjoy a silent auction on the concourse and fireworks!

A limited number of tickets are available for Special Olympics Iowa athletes and guests; please reserve yours in advance to ensure availability. Tickets are free for Special Olympics Iowa athletes and $10 for guests.

Special Olympics Iowa conducts several fundraising golf tournaments throughout the summer to help fund opportunities for athletes and Unified partners. Swing "fore" a cause to help us accomplish our mission of changing lives through the joy of sport. Here’s your chance to make an impact by playing golf!

Jim Jordan Memorial Golf Classic

Date: Wednesday, August 14, 2024

Location: Otter Creek Golf Course (4100 Northeast Otter Creek Drive, Ankeny)

*Shotgun start is scheduled for 8:00 am

Cost: $100 per person. Young professionals receive a discount of $10 per person.

Rich Fellingham Memorial Golf Classic

Date: Thursday, August 1, 2024

Location: Veenker Memorial Golf Course (2916 Veenker Drive, Ames)

*Shotgun start is scheduled for 9:00 am

Cost: $100 per person; $400 a foursome

If you like rides on the open road while the wind whips through your hair or you're an avid Taylor Swift fan, you won't want to miss your chance to buy one of these raffle tickets! Special Olympics Iowa is raffling off a 2024 Polaris Ranger Crew 1000 Premium and Taylor Swift autographed Eras Tour artwork 41" acoustic guitar.

Tickets are $20 each or 6 for $100. Each ticket is valid for one raffle item. Item must be selected at the time of ticket purchase. Must be 21 years of age or older to participate and claim prize.

Raffle drawings will take place on Saturday, October 19th in West Des Moines. Winners need not be present to win.
