PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Integrity in business is a cornerstone of long-term success and sustainability, and meeting regularly with other businessmen plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing this integrity. These meetings provide a platform for sharing experiences, challenges, and best practices, which can help reinforce ethical standards and accountability. Engaging with peers allows business leaders to gain fresh perspectives on how to handle complex situations with honesty and transparency. This collective wisdom not only strengthens individual businesses but also fosters a community of trust and collaboration within the industry.

Regular interactions with other business professionals create opportunities for mentorship and peer support, which are vital for upholding integrity. When business leaders surround themselves with like-minded individuals who prioritize ethical practices, they are more likely to adhere to high standards in their own operations. These relationships can also serve as a sounding board for difficult decisions, offering guidance and reinforcing the importance of integrity in every aspect of business. Moreover, these meetings can lead to partnerships and collaborations that are built on mutual respect and trust, further promoting a culture of integrity within the business community.

In summary, integrity in business is essential for building trust, ensuring compliance, and achieving long-term success. Regular meetings with other businessmen enhance this integrity by providing support, sharing knowledge, and fostering a collaborative environment where ethical practices are valued and upheld.

Therefore, I urge you to make a commitment to attend SBMC meetings regularly. By doing so, you not only contribute to your personal and professional growth but also help create a stronger, more ethical business community. Your participation can make a difference in promoting integrity and fostering an environment where businesses thrive on trust and mutual respect. Join us in these regular gatherings, and together, let's build a future where integrity is at the heart of every business decision.

Excellent turn out for Friday's Monthly Golf Outing at Stillwater Golf & Country Club! Thank you to all who came out, we had a great time!

At the June 12 luncheon meeting of the Southside Business Men's Club, Angelo Volpe and the charity golf committee presented President Mike Best with a check for $15,771. The funds were raised from the 2024 Crump Kirby Memorial Youth Achiever Program golf tournament. Pictured from left to right are Hal Smith, Mike Slagle, Jepp Walter, and Angelo Volpe. Committee members and Platinum Club sponsors Shela Stallings and LaTanya Jackson of First Federal Bank were also key to the success we had but could not attend last week's meeting. All committee members did an outstanding job. We extend our gratitude to all sponsors, players, and volunteers for making this crucial event a tremendous success in supporting our youth scholarships!

Thanks to all our sponsors this year. There are too many to list, but you can see them all here:
