“There's only one thing

more precious than time and that's who we spend it on.”

— Leo Christopher

All my loved ones

who have passed

are always with me.

— Sister Pat Marie Buranosky

Just One Hour More

Cleaning out the fridge, reading the newspaper, getting your oil changed — these mundane things each take about an hour. But what if you were given the gift of one more hour to share with someone you miss? How would you spend it? What would you say? During this first week of November, we remember our deceased love ones and, as Daylight Savings Time ends, gain a precious extra hour. Learn with whom our Sisters would share this invaluable gift of time.

Featuring Robert Olney, a spiritual director with the Diocese of Allentown, the program invites participants to learn how to remain grateful even in disappointment and loss. Set for Thursday, November 17, the retreat is especially timely as Thanksgiving approaches. Attend in person or online via Zoom.

My Father’s Love

An original poem by Sister Karen Buco

As I think of the Father's love for me, my heart is awestruck with mystery.

He loves me as an only child of his, and he always will I'm sure of this.

I praise, and thank, and claim this great love so true.

For I am God's beloved chosen one to live my life anew.

The way of life I choose to live is to keep on doing my best,

By walking in the footprints of Jesus and letting love to the rest.
