Cat Food Drive Extended

Help support Our Companions Animal Rescue in Manchester. Bring your cans or bags of cat food to the library (no expired or opened items, please!). Place your donations in the marked bin in our foyer. The collection will continue thoughout the month of October.

Walk-ins are welcome although we recommend appointments to reserve your time slot.

To schedule your regular or high dose (senior) shot call Bolton Senior Center at 860-647-9196 or email seniorservices@boltonct.org with the type of shot you would like and your estimated arrival time. Reserve your spot by Friday October 15.

Family Paint Night on Zoom
Pumpkin Mandala
Thursday, Oct. 14, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Lindsey Hottin of Lindsey's Craft Studio is back for a creative family paint night on Zoom. We will decorate pumpkins with a unique design using paint and a Sharpie marker. You don't have to be an artist to create a fabulous pumpkin.

Kids Storytime – Let’s Get Physical
Monday, Oct. 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Join us for an in-person storytime on the library lawn. We will feature books about sports and have outdoor games for the children to enjoy. Kahoot Family Trivia Night on Zoom

Zoom Family Cartooning Program Let's Draw Monsters
Thursday, Oct. 28, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
All ages welcome, kids to adults.
Join us for an evening of cartooning and laughs with award-winning cartoonist Rick Stromoski. We had so much fun the last time Rick was here we had to invite him back! You don’t have to be an artist to learn to draw Halloween monsters. Rick will walk us through creating each creature with encouragement and humor. This Zoom program is ideal for the whole family. Annual Handmade Blanket Drive
Calling all crafters. Our annual handmade blanket drive is coming up and we want to give you plenty of notice. We will collect NEW handmade quilts, crochet, knit or tie blankets to support Holy Family Home and Shelter in Willimantic and Cornerstone Shelter in Vernon. Your handcrafted blankets will be collected throughout the month of January. Do you have one ready now? Feel free to drop it off at the library.
