For our September Public Service Appreciation Luncheon, the Chamber will recognize all elected officials in attendance, in addition to presenting the awards for Clinton Firefighter, Policeman, and City Employee of the Year. The Chamber will also welcome guest speaker Dr. Walter Howell, a former mayor and the current historian for the City of Clinton, at this celebration of our outstanding citizens.
The meal at this event will be provided by Mississippi College, and all attendees will be served their lunch at their reserved seat. We are pleased to offer the following menu to luncheon guests:
- Red, White and Blue Salad
- Smokey Mountain Chicken
- Roasted Seasonal Vegetables
- Baked Potatoes (with butter, sour cream, bacon and chives)
- Rolls and Butter
- Chocolate Cheesecake
- Tea, Water, and Coffee
As this is a catered event during the age of COVID-19, reservations and seat selections are required to ensure enough food will be available for guests and event safety recommendations are met. Hand sanitation stations will be available at multiple locations during the luncheon, and all attendees must wear a mask/face covering at all times on MC's campus unless they are seated at their table. Please note that tables will be arranged with a minimum of 6 feet between them, but attendees seated at each individual table will not be able to maintain social distancing during the luncheon. Additionally, only 6 attendees will be allowed per table. Please keep these factors in mind when registering and selecting your seats for the luncheon.
