A Blessed Event

Praise the Lord, it was truly a blessed event on April 24th at Hope Valley Community Church in Red Hill, PA. Pastor Peter Smith asked me to speak before his sermon in the morning service and share about my ministry in the pregnancy resource clinic.

Then in the afternoon from 2:00 pm–4:00 pm, I shared my story of redemption and focused on the need to totally surrender anything that hinders us from serving the Lord with our whole hearts.

After I shared, we invited people to come forward for prayer. I was honored and blessed to pray for many people who offered prayers of surrender to the Lord! It was such a blessing to see the joy on their faces after their heartfelt prayers!

Book Signing—Bringing Hope & Encouragement

I had a book signing afterwards, and I was touched that many people bought more than one copy of my book, Rainbow in the Night: A Journey of Redemption, to give to others!

My prayer has always been to bring hope and encouragement to those who are hurting in the sharing of my life story with vulnerability and transparency. It was wonderful to see many of my friends who live in other parts of PA drive long distances to attend the event.

Movie Fund Is Growing

I’m also excited to share that since the last newsletter when I mentioned that $8000 had been raised, we now have $10,188 in the National Christian Foundation for the movie fund. The producers, Tim Popadic and Matt Ball, had a Zoom call with us last week where several people were invited to hear the vision for the movie. They announced that production could begin late June into July with the filming. Then editing will be in July and August, and hopefully the premier and screening for the Rainbow in the Night movie by late fall! It is very exciting, and we all feel the movie will touch so many lives and bring hope, restoration, healing, and salvation!

Call to Prayer

I am asking for a call to prayer that the $40K needed to start production will be raised by June 1st so we can move forward with filming! Please spread the word if you know people who may want to donate to help bring this movie forth! Faith-based movies are needed now more than ever as we face so much uncertainty and chaos in the world.
