National Night Out is held the first Tuesday of each August as "an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live."

Many neighborhoods across Nampa have already planned activities for their National Night Out on Tues., August 3. It's not too late for your neighborhood to plan a casual get-together. If there is no get-together planned for your neighborhood, I would encourage you to take a minute to reach out to a neighbor you may not already know!

The Nampa City Council meets the first and third Monday of each month; if that Monday falls on a holiday, the meeting is held Tuesday. The regular meetings begin at 5:30 p.m., including a 3-minute open public comment period. The City of Nampa invites the public to comment on proposed re-striping on Holly Street between Roosevelt and Colorado. The proposed project will modify the existing four (4) lane configuration to a three (3) lane configuration with bike lanes.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The City of Nampa continues to partner with the Idaho Food Bank to help distribute free food boxes to anyone who needs a little extra help, but we need volunteers to make this happen!
