LATE START FOR KINDERGARTEN / KINDERTALK!

As we prepare for the first day of school, we want to provide the ideal calm, welcoming environment for your Kindergarten child. We will begin class on the first day of school at 9 a.m. for Kindergarten students. This will give you time to find a parking spot, walk to your child's classroom, and spend some time in the classroom with your child before heading to KinderTalk at 9:15 a.m. Doors to the Kindergarten classrooms will open at 8:30 a.m., class will begin at 9 a.m. If your child attends Club Horizon in the mornings, he/she will remain in Club Horizon until 8:30 a.m. and will be walked to the appropriate classroom at that time.

Come to the Horizon Honors Multi-purpose Room at 9:15 a.m. for KinderTalk and learn the ropes on how to survive the kindergarten year and beyond.
STUDENT FEES DUE AUGUST 1ST

There are a few changes this year, so here is a quick guide detailing HOW and WHERE to pay your student’s fees:

#1 – Parent PowerSchool Account – horizonclc.powerschool.com/public
The Consumable Supply Fee and any Elective Fees (Grades 5-6) are paid through PowerSchool.

Once you log in, select Account Preferences in the left margin to make sure your email address is up to date and that all of your Horizon Honors students are linked to your account. Then select Pay Online to view fees.

Fees can only be accessed on a computer – phones will not work.

From the Summary Tab, you should see all students linked to your PowerSchool account and their fees. Select each Student Tab to view and add fees to your cart. Then click on the Cart icon in the top right to choose a payment method.
You can pay all fees in full, make a Partial Payment, or set up a Payment Plan that will break up the total into 5 equal installments that will be automatically charged on the 18th of each month – August through December. Installment Plans are unique to each school, so if you have both Elementary and Secondary students, you will need to set up a Payment Plan for both schools (K-6 and 7-12).  Note: Lost, Damaged, or Missing Books will be assessed a fee and must be paid separately from Installment Plans.

Click HERE for a short Online Payment tutorial.

*The Consumable Supply Fee covers student supplies (markers, glue, scissors, construction paper, etc.) that Horizon Honors provides for each student, as well as classroom and school supplies including copy paper, toner, tissues, wipes, technology supplies, teacher supplies, etc.

If you wish to waive this optional supply fee, you may instead provide a comparable assortment of classroom/school supplies. Contact the Front Office for a waiver and list of acceptable supplies.

Student Fees are due August 1st!
Please pay in-full or set up a Payment Plan by that time.
Having problems with PowerSchool? Send an email to powerschool@horizonhonors.org.

All other fees – Athletics, Student Clubs, Events, Club Horizon, 3-4 Kartchner Caverns, 5-6 Camp Conundrum, etc. – can be found here. Elementary Field Trip Fees will also be paid on the Horizon Honors website – look for further communication when details are finalized.
