Fall on the farm means pumpkins!
|
|
Fall on the farm with cool mornings and sunny afternoons make the perfect pumpkin patch weather. You can pick the perfect pumpkin, run through a corn maze, sip local cider, eat fresh donuts, and enjoy a hay ride. Make sure to visit at least one harvest festival to make your October complete! Good weather may mean that some of your other favorite stops on the loops, that aren't specifically mentioned here, may be open and have featured fall plants and other late season goodies. Just call ahead!

Fiala Farms has squash, pumpkins, gourds, and many other types of seasonal produce. They also feature a corn maze! Open 7 days a week.

Frog Pond Farm New this year: pumpkin patch drive through safari style! See all the wonderful and fun animals and get a pumpkin. Also featuring a Haunted Forest Fridays-Sundays. More info here.

Historic Kirchem Farm welcomes you to join them every weekend in October for their pumpkin patch, wagon rides, and fun food and family activities.

Hartnell Farms is open Monday-Saturday with pumpkins, fall decor, a wonderful variety of seasonal produce, and jams/jellies. Enjoy all the benefits of the farm in an urban setting. They also deliver boxes of produce!

Lee Farms is open 7 days a week with all your fall needs including pumpkins, decor, baked goods, and flowers. Enjoy a hayride, a maze, view animals, and much more! Visitors must pre purchase tickets online, more info about fall activities here.

Liepold Farms has a Harvest Festival that runs through October, open 7 days a week. Pick your pumpkin, enjoy fall activities, and stop for lunch in their café.

Milwaukie Farmers Market is still open Sundays, 9:30 am to 2 pm for autumn bounty and music. A great one-stop shop!

Tollen Farm features fun on the farm with animals and orchards. Enjoy the beautiful Oregon fall and meet the mini donkeys out in the field. Open by appointment only.

Triskelee Farm offers farm tours, hay rides, and pumpkin painting during the last two weekends in October.

Bauman's Farm & Garden will be featuring their U-pick pumpkin patch, corn maze, animal barn, and harvest market this year. Pick the perfect pumpkin, drink fresh pressed apple cider and pick up everything you need for fall. More info here.

Beilke Family Farm has u-pick or ready-pick pumpkins in all different colors and sizes. They also have an abundance of apples to pick! Open 7 days a week.

Bushue's Family Farm has pumpkins to pick from the vine, fresh doughnuts, and farm animals to visit!

E.Z. Orchards Farm Market Harvest Festival runs 7 days a week and includes pumpkin patch, hay rides, corn maze, Scarecrow field, and food vendors. Don't forget the delicious apple cider and donuts! More info here.

French Prairie Gardens invites you to have fun on the farm! Pumpkin Patch includes fun activities like animal feeding, a corn maze, a Sunflower Maze, and tractor wagon ride. Enjoy the unique opportunity to watch their Pigtucky Derby Pig Races. Timed ticketing in place this year, open Tuesday-Sunday. More info here.

Ken and June's Hazelnuts Pick up some pumpkins, enjoy an espresso drink, and browse their new gift shop this fall!

Margie's Farm & Garden has all your porch decorating needs covered! A great selection of mums, pumpkins, straw bales, and cornstalks awaits you. Check for updated hours here.

Nottinghamshire Farms has many organic varieties of pumpkins, including: Blue Doll, Indian Doll, Sliver Moon, and Jade Knight – Ornamental, Jack-O- Lantern, and Giant Pumpkins available at the farm!

Salem Community Markets are still going in the month of October! A great place to get all the fall staples and seasonal produce. On the last Saturday market, October 30th, they have a harvest celebration. Vendors bring their regular handmade handcrafted products as well as yard sale items.

Fir Point Farms Harvest festival activities open Wednesday-Sunday in October including U-pick pumpkin patch, corn maze, nature trails, and farm petting zoo!

Morning Shade Farm open Saturdays for all your organically grown pumpkin and squash needs.

Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm has spring bulbs on sale now! Pick out your favorite bulbs, plant them this fall and enjoy them next spring. The farm has everything from tulips to daffodils. More info here.

Come for a farm tour and stay for fall farm activities such as hayrides, pumpkin painting, and horse rides! Farm tours include feeding goats, alpacas, ostriches, and meeting many more animals along the way. $10/person and carried babies are free.

Scare Fair - Harbinger of Souls
Weekends in October
The Clackamas County Scare Fair Haunted House with Creatures of the Night offers the only customizable haunt in Oregon. Each group of guests can change their experience from terrifying to family friendly using the Creature Candle. The Creature Candle provides safe passage making terrors and monsters scared of you. Turn the candle on and monsters shrink back and you have the power, or switch off to let the nightmares and screams run wild. More info here.

True North Orchards has everything to make your fall complete! U-pick apple, plum, and grape season is in full swing. Visit their beautiful farm store set-up. They will be serving their signature ciders by the glass (hot or cold) October weekends. Don't forget to grab a gallon or two to take home for all your fall celebrations. This year, they are having a brand new PUMPKIN PALOOZA all month long where you will find several varieties and sizes of perfect pumpkins for your fall decor, jack o lanterns, or pies.

Whimsical PumpkinStack Workshop
Oct. 2 + 9
This year we are taking a whimsical spin on our traditional succulent pumpkin class. We have ordered crates of specialty pumpkins for you to choose from along with a curated selection of succulents, dried flowers, seedpods, mosses, and lichens to adorn your creation. Let's find out how many different ways we can stack and plant up our pumpkins!

This is VOLUNTEER DAY at Hopkins. Your help is greatly appreciated. Projects include limbing trees, brush cleanup and milling lumber for a variety of projects. Lunch will be provided. For more information visit here.

Join us for our final festive weekend of the season! Our Vineyard is open for delicious wines and beautiful valley views! Choose from a flight of our big red wines or enjoy a more casual experience sharing a bottle or sipping on a glass of wine. HarvestFest will have lots of fun activities: Pumpkin Patch, Hay Rides, Petting Zoo, Corn Oregon Maze, and available on weekend Face Painting, Live Music, and Pony Rides. There will also be food available in the HarvestFest area: Sandwiches, Sausages, Hot Dogs, Kettle Corn, etc. Of course, we will also have our fresh Apple Cider and Donuts available for purchase every day.
